First, please check if you are using the correct credentials. You can find them in the control panel at [Webhosting] → [Datasheet] . Please also take note about the host name that is displayed below the line "FTP Host".
We also recommend that you reset the FTP password. You can do that by navigate to [Webhosting] and click [FTP Accounts] . You can click the pencil icon to the right next to your FTP account. If you click the "NEW PASSWORD" button, you can set a new password
Please also check if the correct path is defined. If the specified path does not exist, you will not be able to log in.
Important: If the desired start directory is inside the "html" folder, you must specifiy this like this: "/html/directoryxyz/". However, if it is the first FTP account (for example: xxxxftp1) the path can not be changed, as it always uses the main directory "/".
If it still does not work, you may have too many concurrent connections.
Please make sure that you reduce the number of simultaneous connections in your FTP application. This usually can be done in the settings. We allow 5 simultaneous connections per FTP Account. You can try to terminate the open connections e.g., by closing the FTP application.
If the problem persists, please contact the easyname support
